Siemens Metering Services publish White Paper on SMART METERING, showing their view on the proposed Residential roll-out.
This paper sets out Siemens' view of the current position of the UK Smart Metering roll-out and sets out a framework to help manage the complexity of requirements and decision making. Siemens makes recommendations as to how blocking issues, mainly arising from under-developed operational requirements, can be overcome. Siemens also discusses the functionality of the Data and Central Communications Service and recommends a level of functionality that will enable a paradigm shift in customer experience and competition in energy retailing and services.
